Scanners
Today's presentation will begin with use of my Epson V500 Flatbed/Photo scanner, covering production of files from paper and from slides and negatives. As well, phones are well equipped to "scan" and produce image and pdf files within a few seconds. Please bring any scanning, tablet or phone experiences you have to the meeting.
As well, Paul did an excellent presentation on the use of scanners in 2011 which I will have available on my thumb drive at the meeting. In fact, I will be using much of his presentation in mine rather than attempt to improve on excellence ;-) Bring your thumb drive and it can be copied during the meeting - be sure you have enough room for the copy (iso 4.1 gb). A DVD can also be prepared on request. I will spend some time on phones and tablets, however, especially since most of us have these.
I will have my computer and scanner and some other stuff at the lab on May 7th, so I encourage you to drop in and share ideas or questions you may have at that time. You can also ask questions or share ideas using the contact "button" below. Paul will see your input as well.
