XP is now unsupported by Microsoft for personal users of this 13 year old Operating System (OS). Any one using this OS needs to install the last update to XP and then plan upgrade to Windows 8 or move to a different operating system, such as Linux.
The first thing to do is to determine whether you can upgrade to Windows 8
