We regret to have to inform you that one of our members, Gunter, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2014 at the age of 87.
The Funeral was held at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 1:00 pm - 2:45 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated. Messages of condolence may be forwarded through adamsfuneralhome.ca
The Barrie Computer and Technology Club will miss Gunther very much.
He always provided great questions and information.

XP is now unsupported by Microsoft for personal users of this 13 year old Operating System (OS). Any one using this OS needs to install the last update to XP and then plan upgrade to Windows 8 or move to a different operating system, such as Linux.
The first thing to do is to determine whether you can upgrade to Windows 8
